Community College Agricultural Scholarship Program 1st Farm Credit Services is pleased to offer our Community College Agricultural Scholarship program to assist deserving students to further their education in an agriculture or agriculture-related field of study, and to help promote agriculture as a growing field of career opportunities. Program Provides one $500 agricultural scholarship at the following eight community colleges in our 42-county service territory: Black Hawk College – East Campus, Kewanee; Highland Community College, Freeport; Illinois Central College, East Peoria; Illinois Valley Community College, Oglesby; John Wood Community College, Perry; Joliet Junior College, Joliet; Kishwaukee College, Malta; and Spoon River College, Canton. Eligibility A student who has been accepted into an agriculture or agriculture-related curriculum at one of the above community colleges. Selection Criteria Selection is made by the community college. 1st Farm Credit Services is not involved in the selection of these scholarships.
