NORMAL, ILL. – 1st Farm Credit Services welcomes
Jared Gregg as an Associate Lending Services Officer.
Gregg will train in the 1st FCS Normal, Ill.
headquarters and be placed in one of the association’s 21
branch offices as a Vice President, assisting clients with
their agricultural financing needs. Gregg will focus on the
needs of producers in Western Illinois.
Gregg is a native of Cerro Gordo, Ill. in
Piatt County on a five-generation farm raising corn and
soybeans. He and his family showed Duroc hogs at county
fairs each summer. He graduated from the University of
Illinois in May, 2006 with a degree in Agribusiness Farm and
Financial Management.
Gregg was active at the University of
Illinois on the Meats Judging Team and the Meat Animal
Evaluation Team. He worked at the University of Illinois
Swine Research Facility, and interned at the Monsanto Corn
Research facility in Thomasboro, Ill. He is a second
generation Farm Credit team member. His stepmother Ellen
Gregg is a loan officer at the Farm Credit Services of
Illinois office in Decatur, Ill.

1st Farm Credit Services leads the industry
in farm real estate loans, and provides various services
such as crop insurance, life insurance, loan and lease
options, as well as farmland appraisals. The cooperative
serves 42 counties in the northern half of Illinois through
its 21 local offices.
