SYCAMORE, ILL. – Mike Shane has recently accepted the position as vice president for the Sycamore and Woodstock branches of 1st Farm Credit Services.

Shane will manage relationships with present and prospective 1st Farm Credit Services clients in the area. He has been with 1st FCS for four years as the leasing and trade credit specialist, and previously helped build 1st FSC Equipment Finance Program.

"I strive to help clients grow and succeed while sustaining strong financial positions," said Shane.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a degree in Agronomy, Shane is currently pursuing his MBA at Northern Illinois University. He plans on becoming a member of the Illinois Nurserymen’s Association and a member of the local Farm Bureau.

Shane, who grew up on a grain farm near Princeville, resides in Dekalb, and is engaged to be married in the fall.
