NORMAL, ILL. – 1st Farm Credit Services
welcomes Thad Stauffer as the new crop insurance operations
manager in the central office in Normal.
A graduate from Illinois State University
with a degree in agribusiness and agronomy, Stauffer will
manage processing and compliance for 1st FCS crop insurance
program. He comes to 1st FCS after working as an assistant
claims manager with Great American Insurance Company.

incredible crop insurance team and helping them meet the
excellent standards you’ve come to expect with 1st Farm
Credit Services," said Stauffer, who resides in Mapleton
with his wife and children.
1st Farm Credit Services leads the industry
in farm real estate loans, and provides various services
such as crop insurance, loan and lease options, as well as
farmland appraisals. The cooperative serves 42 counties in
the northern half of Illinois through its 20 local offices.
