NORMAL – Michael Rumbold of Wyoming has been
appointed to the 1st Farm Credit Services board
of directors.
Rumbold, the CEO/President of Rumbold and Kuhn Inc., a
family-owned grain elevator with locations in Henry, Stark
and Peoria counties, was selected by the board of directors
to represent agri-business clients served by 1st
Farm Credit Services.
“My goal is to further the association and prepare it for
the future in the fast changing agriculture industry,” he
said. “I also want to make services available to a wide
spectrum of individuals and businesses that can be served by
1st Farm Credit Services.”

Farm Credit Services, ACA, has a board of 17 directors,
including two outside directors and one appointed director.
Rumbold is in the appointed director position.
Rumbold has been a client-owner of 1st Farm
Credit Services for more than 27 years, and is involved in a
farming operation with his four brothers.
Along with his duties with the elevator business, Rumbold is
the president of Lincoln Land Rail, a grain storage and
shipping enterprise, and is on the board of directors of Big
River Resources, a company working to build various ethanol
plants.
Rumbold is active in his community, and is the president of
the Stark County District 100 School Board.

Farm Credit Services leads the industry in agriculture
loans, risk management products and various services such as
crop insurance, loan and lease options, as well as
agricultural real estate appraisals. The cooperative serves
42 counties in the northern half of Illinois through its 18
local offices.
