Our History
Farm Credit Services has served the financial needs of agriculture
since 1916 -- first as local Federal Land Bank Associations
and Production Credit Associations. We are part of the Farm Credit
System, the nation's leading and single largest provider of
agricultural financing. Farm Credit Services provides farm real
estate, rural home, operating and equipment loans, and other financial
services – including equipment and building leasing; farm
appraisals; Farm Cash ManagementSM; and Crop Revenue Coverage (CRC),
multi-peril, hail, and life and disability insurances.
Together, our two organizations serve more than 16,000 Illinois agricultural
producers and agribusinesses and have more than $4 billion in loans
outstanding.
